lower case in the beginning of a translation sentence

Having started using CafeTran as my first CAT tool (though I had some use of Trados several years ago), I have a simple question: Could you let me know why the first character of a translation always changes automatically to the lower case? It's very annoying as I have to keep going back to the beginning of the sentence to change it back to the upper case. Any idea? Thanks for help.

Please turn off the Automatic case adjustment via Edit > Target segment menu. In the recently updated CafeTran Espresso 2017 - Yeddi version, it is switched off automatically for CJK languages.
