Yes, you've mostly got it.
Epothilone is the agent to be used in the chemotherapy. 'Bilan' here probably, but not certainly, refers to tests (blood etc) but 'assessment' would probably do.

: I too would go with assessment for "bilan" in this case, it is indeed one of those tough words that can have a lot of different meanings!
