Hello!

Since 1991 I do translations from English to Portuguese (PT
or BR) and from Portuguese (PT or BR) to English. Did many
in themes like History, Philosophy, and Art. I have
university frequency in Materials Engineering, and later in
Geology, in which I had to do many translations of
university papers and quotes from books, in the disciplines I
was attending, like chemistry, physics, mineralogy,
environmental geology, etc. Had dealt with some foreign
students, and tourists as well. After that, I worked as
Manager Assistant for a ceramic Italian tiles company agent
in Portugal, in which all the work relations were in
English, written and spoken. Did all administrative /
commercial work, catalogs translations, and contacts with
clients (Portuguese and foreigners). Also did budgeting,
logistics and participated in many international Building
Materials fairs. Have many other interests, which include
cooking and food, cinema, traveling, gaming (with a small
participation in translating some parts of the game rules
from English to Portuguese), handcrafts, music, psychology,
medical science, nature, archaeology, history,  and fashion,
among others.Did already an Operational Manual translation
for Wire EDM cutting machine, and Suppliers Manual from a
big fashion company, an amendment to a leasing contract, 2
sections of a management mining document, Rural Tourism
website (among others). I also did some audio transcriptions
from large interviews to a university newspaper.

My translation rate is 0.12€/source word, my transcription rate is 1.50€/recorded minute and
Transcription+translation rate: 3,00€/recorded minute.
