HUMANITARIAN MARITIME BRIDGE LINGUISTS' MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Must have proficiency in the target language(s) and English speaking, reading, and writing 
Conduct accurate and consecutive translation, transcription, and interpretation from the target language into English and English to the target language.
Translate various syntax and expressions, including colloquial and slang phrases, from English to the target language and the target language to English.
Provide advice on the cultural and ethnic significance of statements, conversations, situations, and documents.
Accurately scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents.
Must pass a basic medical exam
Must pass a basic background check
