burundanga (scopalamine)
"Burundanga" sounds so powerfully on its own right that I would not change it by the ice-cold scientific "scopalamine." I would write _burundanga_, in italics, and then the chemical substance in parentheses.
I've heard "burundanga" means "beverage" in some parts of the Caribbean (from Africa?). Burundanga is so musical a word that our great Celia Cruz used it in one of her most catchy songs:
Now, it seems Celia Cruz -or the song composer for that matter- knew about the effects of the "Burundanga". Just consider the lyrics:
