Sigo con el libro de formación en ingeniería. En esta parte el autor habla de "concept clusters".

Lo que sigue es uno de ellos. La frase dice así:

Combinations and /or distributions of forces are statistically to a force and a couple.

Yo llego a lo siguiente: Estadísticamente, las combinaciones y las distribuciones de las fuerzas son... (y aquí me pierdo).

Me da la impresión que falta alguna palabra, o no la entiendo.

Apreciaré la ayuda.

Still meaningless Even if the sentence actually reads Combinations and /or distributions of forces are STATICALLY to a force and a couple ,it is still meaningless. Maybe the word 'equivalent' is missing, as well as some punctuation?
For example: Combinations and /or distributions of forces are equivalent, statically, to a force and a couple ...???

Perdón, me rectifico Leí mal el párrafo original. dice "statically" y no "statistically". Ahora lo entiendo mejor, pero no llego a comprender el significado de "couple".
