Dear colleagues--It's been a while since I was tutoring last time, so could you refresh the memory:
 Are there any lists (by themes/categories?) of English songs with meaningful lyrics and clear voices--and appropriate for teens?

I would be grateful if you happen to know American/British rock/pop/classic male and female singers. Of course, relevant links and specific names are welcome.

For now it's selected* songs from The Beatles, Modern Talking, The Prodigy, Evanescence, George Michael. Sade, Enigma, Sting, Nirvana, Metallica, MDB, Tiamat, Briney Spears, Madonna, and a few others.

Also I'm not sure whether listening to some popular yet meaningless songs would be any good for the student)
