Hi Marcel, I'm very interested in this course and I have few questions. I'd like to know whether this course is addressed to EN>ES translators only or it could be useful for translators with different language combinations. Are the translation examples EN>ES? And thanks Helen!
That's right: it will be more like a lecture, as you say. Anyway, I will include some translation examples from English into French, Spanish, Italian and German. Anyway, they are presented as an exercise (or "homework", if you like). Translators are encouraged to translate the examples into their own target languages once they get all the training material. At the end of the webinar, I will give some tips on how to get a job in this industry... See more
Hi Andrea,
And thanks Helen!
At the end of the webinar, I will give some tips on how to get a job in this industry and I'll be happy to answer any questions that may arise. In addition, I will provide some resources (such as glossaries, dictionaries, specialized websites, databases...) that may come in handy.
