We invite translators, interpreters, lawyers, teachers and students to submit their contributions from research, teaching and practice

TOPICS

Translating and interpreting for the courts and the public authorities, including the social and health system; Statutory basis, professional and legal status;
Intercultural communication;
Sign languages and the languages of the new EU Member States, as well as their different legal proceedings; Terminology; Applying new technologies;
Basic and further training;
Ethics of the profession.

The abstracts should have about 250 words and should be sent in before 15 July 2004.
