Hi everyone!

I would like to make you aware of a very useful resource for interpreters wanting to practice their consecutive and simultaneous skills or simply wanting to improve their language skills.

Hi everyone!

I would like to make you aware of a very useful resource for interpreters wanting to practice their consecutive and simultaneous skills or simply wanting to improve their language skills.

The website is free to use (you only need to register) and gives you access to plenty of speeches uploaded by fellow linguists/interpreters. The project was created in 2013 by Sophie Llewellyn Smith, who decided to answer the question posed by many interpreting students: "Where can we find more interpreting material?". However, it is aimed at trainers, people who want to add a language to their combination, public service interpreters, language learners and even people wanting to work on their retour.

The website is self explanatory and gives you some guidelines on how to write your speeches, structure them and upload them.
