During the years I established a precise definition of what a "translation hour" is, expressed in money. Based on that defintion I try to work 47 hours a week, which means 10 hours a day from Monday to Thursday, and 7 hours on Friday. My weekends are (apart from rare exceptions) fully mine. The last 2 years I was, on a yearly basis, close to that goal. I suppose that's kind of a business objective. | | | Tom in London United Kingdom Local time: 13:34 Member (2008) Italian to English

Even the best objectives won't work if the other necessary parties involved don't play along. Sometimes one objective failed completely, while another excelled even my wildest dreams. A lesson taught, a lesson learned. | | | Kay Denney France Local time: 14:34 French to English
My objective is and has always been simply to earn enough to provide for myself, and to enjoy earning it. Up to now, mission accomplished. | | | Nope, I take it like Rambo | May 13, 2022 |
