Spanish term
aglutinación
Spanish to English
Social Sciences
Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc.
This may also be about collocations, in a way. Or perhaps it involves a technicality of statistic analysis. Either way: what word fits best in English as the translation of "aglutinación" in this context, please?
Como puede observarse en el Gráfico 4, dichas diferencias se hallan en relación a la aglutinación de las medias para el catalán entre los diferentes grupos lingüísticos analizados, y la dispersión de las mismas en el caso del castellano.
Don't both about all the Catalan and Castilian stuff, I have that under control (it's well explained in the preceding text, which you don't have!). It's just the agglutination bit I need. Thx

Note from asker:
Hmm, this sounds closer to the kind of jargon we want here (statistical analysis). But I'm not a statistician. Anyone technical out there who can help us here? - Alan |

OK Alan, I understand where you come from. Then how about "mixed array of the average". And for dispersion in Statistics. it is the scattering of values of a variable around the mean or median of a distribution. So, I would go for dispersion. (I am not into statistics.)
