To this point I am simply using "promissory note" but I am much more used to "pagaré". I cannot find this anywhere and am starting to think that this was a translation into Spanish and someone's attempt to state "promissory note" into Spanish. But, may I am wrong. If so, where is it used? Is there a different translation than "promissory note"?

Mike... a promissory note would not likely have "vigencia vigencia de 180 dias"
Not enough context to be sure, but sounds to me like commitment letters...
