Spanish term

...disminuidas por el deteriorio propio de la serie...

Spanish to English Marketing Marketing / Market Research
Se trata de un estudio sobre venta de bebidas. En este contexto:

"Las Ventas que se consiguen en el corto plazo por el efecto de las Estacionalidades y las Promociones se ven totalmente disminuidas por el deterioro propio de la serie desde 2006."

De momento interpreto:

"The short-term Sales generated by the Seasonalities effect and Promotions witness a severe decrease due to the deterioration of the proper series since 2006."

Thank you very much philgoddard. I always see the mistakes after posting them. Regarding the question about common names not being capitalised (unless they fall under some other capitalization rule), you are right, and I had no doubt about it. Now, thanks to you I'll pluck up courage and inform the author about this important matter. Thank you again.

Eugenio - I would get your translation checked by a native English speaker. There are several mistakes just in this one sentence. Also, common nouns are not capitalised in English (or Spanish).

Según lo entiendo yo, en este caso, "propio" viene a ser sinónimo de "característico, típico"
