"La revolución **se ha dado a la tarea de** armar y formar un nuevo ejército paralelo de “reservistas”."

El cansancio me está matando y no se me ocurre una alternativa para decir esto en inglés. Estoy segura de que hay una manera sencilla de hacerlo. Gracias a todos.

Ojo con "revolución". Creo que debería escribirse con mayúsculas, tanto en español como en inglés.
También invertiría en orden de "armar" y "formar", ya que supongo que habría que formar al ejército antes de suministrale armas.
