Estoy traduciendo un documento que describe ventajas y desventajas de diferentes formas de contratación de actividades y servicios (outsourcing, mantener todo dentro de la propia empresa, etc.)
En la sección que habla de equipos (vehículos, maquinaria, etc.), analiza el caso del "leasing".
Entre las ventajas del "leasing" aparecelo siguiente:
"La empresa se beneficiaría de una mejor asignación de inversiones y un mejor **alineamiento de incentivos**, pues permite priorización de fondos para desarrollo de nuevos proyectos con el objetivo de maximizar retorno de portafolio corporativo de inversiones"

I think this term must be linked to "desarrollo de nuevos proyectos" - in other words, the company wants to use leasing as a way of being able to put its energy into growth, through research and development of new products etc., instead of into building up its assets.
