Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Architecture

"alzados" was used in these two different contexts below.

Now it says in the dictionary that "Alzado" is: Diseño que representa la fachada de un edificio. Diseño de un edificio, máquina, aparato, etc., en su proyección geométrica y vertical sin considerar la perspectiva. Altura, elevación o estatura.

Please read both contexts and provide an explanation for each. There may be a different use for each context and that is what I'm trying to find out.


Context 1:

La arquitectura religiosa corresponde a la IGLESIA PARROQUIAL en honor a la Santísima Trinidad. A su pórtico se accede a través de una arco rebajado que nos adentra a la portada del templo. Adosado a uno de los alzados de la torre, se halla el cuerpo que contiene a las pesas y maquinaria del reloj.

So this context is dealing with the tower. How would "alzados" be translated here? Façade just doesn't sound right to me here. Facades of a tower?


Context 2:

Aparecen CASAS BLASONADAS con escudos de armas, como el de linaje de los Antoñanas de los siglos XVI y XVII y de casas populares medievales de piedra, ventanas gótico-renacentista y alzados con entramado de madera.


What would it be here? Would it be the same thing as the first context? or is it different? This one seems like it could be a facade because we are talking about the outside of a house.
