Discussion

Bogdan Petrovic (asker) Apr 26, 2013:
yes exactly
Mirjana Svicevic Apr 26, 2013:
I think the point should be about how hard it is to comprehend another man's problems or hardship.
Daryo Apr 25, 2013:
"sit gladnom ne veruje" could be interpreted in two ways.
"ne veruje" could be understood in the meaning of "doesn't believe" or in the meaning of "doesn't trust".
As it's usually pretty obvious if someone goes hungry, I always assumed the meaning was "doesn't trust".
What do you think is the intended meaning?

Isto tako moze i: Little knows the fat man what the lean one thinks.

Personally, I am in favor of the second option I suggested: Little knows the fat man what the lean one thinks, because I am not sure if the term "sow" fits to bpetrov's text context.
