Mislim da se ovde radi o mehaničaru (znači, mašinske struke) - usmerenja precizne mehanike, a u okviru toga specijalizovanom za merno-regulacionu tehniku. Mada su danas merno-regulacioni sistemi uglavnom električni/elektronski i oni imaju i svoje mašinske sklopove (npr. aktuatore i sl), a i do skora su ti sistemi uglavnom bili pneumatski, tj. mašinski (precizna mehanika).

Napominjem da je moj predlog prevoda “mehaničar precizne i merno-regulacione tehnike” i da je, po mom mišljenju, važno naglasiti da se “precizni” ne odnosi na merno-regulacionu tehniku, već na širu oblast (struku) "precizni mehaničar".
