Serbian term

Gramofonska ploča

Serbian to English Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng
Hvala.

(phonograph/gramophone) record/vinyl

A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), often simply record. Records made of any material began to be called vinyl records, or simply vinyl.
Example sentence:

The use of the record as a medium had superficial beginnings as early as 1904 in Ruggero Leoncavallo’s song “Mattinata,” specifically written for the record according to the label.

Phonograph records emerged in the late 1890s and ruled as the predominant format for recorded sound from the 1910s through the late 1970s.
