formal project proposal for eco-tourism development of a small region
The context is a proposal (generated by a university) for the development of walking itineraries in an mountain region near Lake Como. The backers of the project include an Italian NGO and an association of small villages and hamlets, working together. This acronym, applied to the park, has official status in Italian but I am having touble finding equivalents in English. So far I have come up with this: Local Park of Extra-Municipal Interest / Supra-Municipal? Glad for any comments or suggestions.
