Italian term

attivita benestare

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Metrology
Could this be "acceptance tests"?

In the following:

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com May 5, 2005:
Croc: No, I'm afraid it's not clear from the context - it's more or less the last section of the text and there's been no mention anywhere so far either of clients or of regulatory bodies, so perhaps "approval activities" would fit better as a more neutral expression.

neutral esoft : I agree if they are doing these "attività" for an approval stamp by a regulatory body, ie measurements - but if they mean acceptance by the client, I think it should be "acceptance tests"

acceptance tests

Hi Croc,
do you know if they are doing these "attività" are to gain a stamp of approval from a regulatory body or from the client to go ahead with a project or purchase?

As I mentioned in my comment to Ziad, if they are applying for a stamp of approval from a regulatory body, I agree with Ziad on "approval activities"

if instead, these activities are for client approval, as you say they are commonly referred to as "acceptance tests"
