Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Tom in London

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

missed the one posted yesterday Honestly: I did not see the one posted yesterday, until Barbara mentioned it today 14:43

Paul You may raise a support ticket and ask the staff to rectify the duplicated question.
Thank you.
Paul Rooms (asker) May 19, 2023:
I posted just once and then added a little more context but when I look at the answers it looks like there are two posts.
I'm sorry but it's not my fault.

Posted at 12:30pm on 18 May 2023, with same broad and specific fields.

So, why post this twice, Paul?

Phil, perhaps Paul can delete either. Or both, so as not to hurt anybody's feelings (!).
Today, when I answered, and also now, this here was/is the only question related to "controllo analogo".
philgoddard May 19, 2023:
I don't know why people do this. I can't delete duplicated questions once someone has posted an answer.
FPC May 19, 2023:
I DON'T UNDERSTAND Not that I care much , but this very query appeared identical in another post and I gave the same (among other options) answer as you have here from another user. Just to satisfy my curiosity: what's going on?

2 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you, I was looking for a specific translation for this term in this context but I'll resort to a translator's note."

similar control

We need to see the meaning: "Analogo" can be "paragonabile" (and comparable is fine) or "simile", which is not perfectly the same thing.
