Italian term

mezzi meccanici a frattura preordinata

Italian to English Law/Patents Internet, e-Commerce
This is from a patent for a portable device such as a cell phone. They're talking about an anti-tampering mechanism. There is no diagram or any other explanation of what they're talking about. Further context:

"la rivendicazione 9 specifica che il sistema antimanomissione (10) comprende mezzi atti ad inviare tutta la tensione residua della batteria (6) sui piedini del circuiti di memoria dell’unità MCU (1) e della memoria aggiuntiva (9) causandone la distruzione immediata;
la rivendicazione 10 specifica che il sistema di manomissione comprende mezzi meccanici a frattura preordinata o mezzi chimici"

The use of "manomissione" under claim 10 must be a typo - my assumption is they mean "antimanomissione."

mechanical means with predetermined fracturing

I believe they are referring to mechanical means designed to break in a predetermined manner (e.g. along predefined lines of weakness), presumably as the result of attempted tampering or similar.
The purpose of such means in anti-tampering systems can vary widely. For example, they may simply render any tampering visible, such as in a box with a tab that breaks off when it is first opened and prevents its reclosure, or have a more disruptive role to disable the host device. For example, in this case, their breakage might cause contacts to close that will let the battery fry the electronics as per claim 9 ... just guessing though!

PS: I agree with your typo assumption in claim 10.
