Here is a quick explanation about 'le corporazioni'. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Le corporazioni, nel gioco, sono le scuole dove uno può effettuare la classazione. Per classazione si intende il conseguimento di una classe di specializzazione. La classazione è il momento del gioco in cui l'utente passa dalla classe viandante a quella di guerriero, mago, chierico o cacciatore. All'interno delle corporazioni ci sono i maestri che ti insegnano il modo di combattere della relativa classe.

@Phil Yes "It says they're schools," but it calls them something else, something very medieval to add flavour and depth to the story telling in the game, so clearly you really do need another term.

Guilds/ clans would both fit the context better. For example, I would tend to associate the term DRAGON WARRIOR with a guild/ clan rather than a school.

It's not out of context at all - it has teachers who teach you how to fight, so it seems the obvious translation.

It says they're schools, so why not call them that? Otherwise you're introducing an extra piece of terminology for no particular reason.

Premettendo che non sono madrelingua inglese, mi sono dedicata ad una breve ricerca in rete. Come traduzione di "corporazione", ho trovato il termine "guild": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guild che in italiano corrisponde più esattamente a "corporazioni delle arti e dei mestieri", antiche associazioni per la tutela di talune attività professionali.

E' un'idea, spero ti sarà utile.
