Italian term

nastro bandella a dita

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial conveyor belt (for loading fruit into bins)
This is a conveyor belt for filling fruit into bins. It runs relatively vertically and has sections set perpendicular to the belt surface (I presume to hold the indivdiual pieces of fruit). It is used to lower the fruit into the bin so it can be deposited without bruising. I have no idea waht it could be in english. I saw a couple of patents for bin fillers that mention a cradle but there is no diagram so I cant be sure if this is the same thig or not (and patent languge is incomprehensible for me). Any ideas?

Guereau Jun 15, 2011:
Sorry Eileen I was wrong, I meant "finger conveyor belt" of course! (Not fruit bin filler...).
In fact I started looking for finger something ("a dita") and found straight this fruit bin filler.

I take that back On your site there was one with vertical finger conveyor belt. I think this is exactly what I need. Thanks!!
Eileen Cartoon (asker) Jun 15, 2011:
sorry I guess I wasn't clear The overall machien is the bin filler. What I need is the name of that conveyor belt with perpendicular supports that actually moves the fruit
