*Alternative world* movement
I am far from an activist, but I read a lot about this.
Within the movement, some feel that a name that includes *anti-* evokes a negative attitude they would rather not be associated with.
*Alternative world movement* or *Altermondialist movement* are names that are not frequently used (a few hundred hits each compared to 197,000 for *anti-globalization movement-*) but reflect this position.
The same is true for *Movimento No-Global* (52,900 hits) or *Movimento Antiglobalizzazione* (18,000) vs *Movimento Altermondialista* (just 692)
My two cents ;-)
