Because of the context (which I understand as Bad Guy 1 by Bad Guy 2 that he is no longer wanted, no longer involved, no longer a 'player') I would tend to use the singular in English 'game' instead of 'games'. Unless, of course, earlier on in the text it was obvious that the guy was literally involved in a number of criminal activities!
