Raise the load to the required height.
The underside of the load needs to be approximately 3-5 inches (75-125mm) higher than the receiving stack.
Move forward slowly to ensure accurate alignment as you drive towards the stack.
Beware of touching the base of the stack with the base of the mast.
Stop when the base of the mast is approximately 4 inches (100mm) from the stack and apply the handbrake.
The load will look like it needs to go further forward but do not be tempted to go any closer for if you make contact with the stack it may collapse.
Bring the load level by careful and controlled use of the tilt lever.
As you bring the load level it will also go down so be careful to avoid touching the top of the stack.
Ensure the load is aligned accurately on all sides of the stack.
Lower the load onto the stack, but also make sure that the stack can cope with extra weight.
Ensure the forks are free of the pallet.
