Lo que yo creo es que lo de "carpet" es como una matáfora, porque los niños están sentados sobre una alfombra. Pero la idea es que allí, todos sentaditos, realizan actividades e intercambian ideas, etc. Bueno, espero haber ayudado en algo. Suerte!

Cada palabra tendrá relación con una imagen. Con la intervención del maestro/a se construirán los pictogramas en el rincón que hoy esdirigido de la biblioteca. Ellos mismos discriminarán los dibujos y se lesayudará a la fonética. The object of the lesson was how authorsdescribe characters and set scenes. This wasintroduced by using an extract of ‘familiar text’and the children were asked if they couldidentify the adjectives within it. As each wordwas highlighted the children were asked toclose their eyes and picture the scene. As moreand more adjectives were identified the childrenwere able to complete the full picture.
