English term
XO
English to Spanish
Tech/Engineering
Ships, Sailing, Maritime
The only context I have is:
"he looked toward the boat’s XO"
I'm afraid that's all. A little research led me to this, but I doubt it's correct.

segundo comandante
Creo que se refiere al "Executive Officer". Te dejo la referencia en Wikipedia. Obviamente, falta más contexto para saber a ciencia cierta a qué se refiere.

It is very difficult as best to identify what "XO" could mean with very little useful context!

Basically, this is a scene in a book. A militar character is doing a debriefing to his team. They're in a submarine, the Navy is involved in all of this. The only context in terms of words I have is what I already posted up there
