La traducción sugerida me parece adecuado. Para aplacar tus dudas, de acuerdo con las referencias de Tomasso y el sitio de patentes, también podríamos decir:
1) "conveyance start end PST" significa "extremo de comienzo del transporte (Pst) [s y t son subíndices]
2) "conveyance terminal end PED" significa "extremo final de transporte (Ped) [subíndices]
Ahora bien, ¿por qué st y ed? Es posible que sea por "start"y "end".
Me gustaría sugerir otro término para "transporte" pero se ve que hay una cinta transportadora.
