English term

“wiggly” and “jiggly”

English to Spanish Science Nutrition
Once upon a time kids ran for enter tainment. Now they sit. Preschoolers are naturally “wiggly” and “jiggly” and spend a lot of time running and playing. You probably worr y more about your preschooler learning to sit still than you do about your child getting enough exercise. But the fact is many children are over weight because they do not get enough exercise. They sit around
watching television instead of running around outside. As with other good health habits, moving around and being active is one habit you can easily teach your child. Your own example of an active, fit lifestyle is the best way to teach your child to enjoy physical activity. Teach your child that an active lifestyle is not only healthy—it’s fun!

agree JoseAlejandro : It's a very good effort, but there has to be something more "cutsie" that captures the meaning and register. ¡Suerte!

agree JoseAlejandro : This might be ok, but I'm thinking that there has to be something more "cutsie" in Spanish that captures the meaning and register. Good luck!

que se menean y patalean

Jiggly are quick little jerks or oscillating motions, and
wiggle, as one possible meaning could be "patalear" as in the sentence: She wiggled her toes in the water
