Dutch term
bok
Dutch to English
Tech/Engineering
Mechanics / Mech Engineering
farming equipment — wheels and rims
I have a long list of farming equipment items up for auction.
One section is "Diverse Velgen". Included under this are the following details:
- list of sizes
- "2 wagenwielen" (I assume from elsewhere in the document that this refers to a feed wagon or similar)
- "incl. 2x bok"
Sorry I can't provide much context. Any help appreciated!

: It's good that you've done so much research, but most of your references seem to be irrelevant, and I'm confused. I looked up headstock, but I'm none the wiser as to its meaning.

yeah, got carried away with the screenshots. wanted to show all the potentially relevant entries. as far as I understand it, a 'headstock' is the attachment/thing that allows e.g. a feed wagon to be connected to the back of a tractor. also called: linkage

--> could possibly be described as “bokken”, as far as I can tell, are simply the storage racks that the wheel rims are sitting on.
Good luck!
2x axel stand
2x support stand
2x stand
I’m sorry not to be able to award points in this case. The input here has all been part of the process towards a solution, so thanks very much for your help, Michael and Barend!
Not sure whether I am right.
It could be an option.
By the way, if you look at these feed wagons: when they are not coupled to a tractor, they are supported by a 'bok'.

Not that it proves anything.
in that case, maybe something along the lines of:
axel stand, support stand, stand
see e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-Tools-676260-Folding-Sta...
‘Silverline Tools 676260 Folding Axle Stand Set, Blue
• Provides additional support on vehicles raised off their wheels
• Maximum capacity per stand: 2000kg (must be used in pairs)’
:-)

By the way you have (steun)bokken in all shapes and sizes, as you can see in my earlier link.
Of course, we don't exactly have much context to go on so I may be wrong.
Think of these, and in your case it may be an old fashioned version of these:
https://tinyurl.com/4sf5xbst
These may be relevant in this context as well:
bok: hout met drie poten dat men onder een kar zet om die te onderschragen
bok: schuine balk, van voren op twee paaltjes, van achteren op twee kortere rustend, waarop de hoef van een paard of ezel steunt bij het beslaan
(see my ref below: ‘BOK II’ in Huitenga’s ‘Nederlands-Engels Supplement voor Landbouw- en Milieuwetenschappen’)
No, sorry! There is no indication at all for the wheels/rims. A wide range of years is given for various other pieces of equipment — mostly from the 2000s, although there is also a tractor dating back to 1987.
