database category - subscriber
I agree it is a category for statistical analysis. In the magazine business we are concerned about our subscriber or subscription base. In this case, I would say that the term is a backtranslation into Dutch.

'File structure' is the technical term for 'bestandsopbouw'. A 'bestand' is not necessarily a database.
