Dutch term

aflopend

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Insurance insurance
In an insurance policy, the duration of the policy (contractduur) is 'aflopend'.

Can anyone help me with this please?

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Oct 24, 2003:
sentence Sorry - it's not in a sentence. The policy just has a list of headings and corresponding information. There is no other reference to contractduur in the resto of the policy.
writeaway Oct 24, 2003:
can you show how it's used in the sentence?

expiry (date)

aflopend means expiring - see Van Dale - as it's a title in a list , I think it must be expiry or expiry date. Lindsay
