FRONT SCRAPERS
Conveyor belt scraper STARCLEAN, type 620/622 is used to clean the belt from the conveyed material directly at the drop of the dropping drum. This type of scraper can be used in reverse conveyor belts. The scraper segments are pressed in a defined manner to the surface of the belt conveyor on the drum, thereby removing any residues (sticking materials with fast belt motion). According to the product application various segments are used.

Another example:
A highly efficient front scraper, which is installed against the head of the drive drum. That is a position which can be easily realised, even with small discharge containers.
The scraper is made of special T-Rex polyurethane, which is cast into preformed scraper blocks with a hardness of 90° Shore A. This guarantees an exceptionally high wear and tear resistance. The scraper blocks adjust completely to the rounding and structure of the conveyor belt. The pressure of the scraper against the conveyor belt is provided by very solid torsion elements. As a consequence, the scraper is especially suitable for a higher variety of products, such as for instance coal, sand and gravel, compost etc.

Barend, looks to me like these scrapers are at the end of the belt (where the head pulley 'pulls' the belt), not the front. Thanks for your agree.
