I can appreciate that you consider this not to be the correct answer - the problem is that this is rather like trying to translate Iron Brew into Dutch - there is no real equivalent - so probably what I'll do is keep the name as Champagnepils and in brackets put (tastes like Dandelion & Burdock) as that's most likely the best approach. Many D&Bs don't have any real plant ingredients being made entirely from artificial flavourings

Sorry to be the party pooper here, but have you read the ingredients on cp and D&B? No natural ingredients in cp at all, just sweetened, carbonated, artificially flavoured water. While D&B has very specific D&B additives, see above list of ingredients.

There are no two ways about it - this stuff is Dandelion & Burdock! If you can get some more English (D&B drinking) natives to respond I am sure they will confirm this!

Won't champagnepils (pronounce that in English) sound odd to an English reader who will think pills? How about 'bubblegum lemonade', not even bubblegum-flavoured lemonade which sounds too prosaic.

The trouble is that this is part of a list of drinks which also include things shandy coke fanta 7-up spa.
If I keep champagnepils (which I'm very inclined to do) then the description has to be very short on the line of non-alcoholic ..... lemonade
Does Dandelion and Burdock taste the same or only somewhat (i've never tried it)?

This is the sugary, fizzy drink that kids sometimes drink - it tastes sort of like bubble gum - kids seem to love it (I think it's the name that appeals) made by several Dutch drinks manufacturers and it has absolutely no alcohol in it!
