Dutch term

Bericht als bijlage

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) financial statement
Help please

This is a kind of listing about banks transactions, transfers, etc.

In each item there is generally a message (bericht), such as a name.

Each item also has (zie bijlage), which I have been translating as see annex up to now,

And afrekening in bijlage, which I have been tentatively called statement of account in annex.
Proposed translations (English)
3 attached transaction confirmation

Discussion

Katrien Van den Broeck Nov 3, 2014:
afrekening in bijlage The message as you say is a description of the item. It could be a name of a person or company or a reference number of the bank itself, sale or purchase of investment.

The word "afrekening" is a "statement"; here you can find more details about the transaction, eg what fund, paid dividend, sale price, etc.

And the word "bijlage" is attachment if it is added to an email or annex if it is a report and is added at the end of the report.

For this financial statement I would translate it as the following:
"zie bijlage" -> "see attachment"
"afrekening in bijlage" ->"statement in attachment" or "attached statement" or "enclosed statement"

attached transaction confirmation

(A possibility.)
Incidentally: zie bijlage could be "see attached", and afrechning in bijlage could be "attached statement" or "attached summary".

Literally: transaction confirmation as an attachment (hereto).
Note from asker:
Thanks for all your help. As for "bericht" I think this must be message as it occurs several times with a, well a message. The sort of message used when making a transfer.
Thanks a lot for your help

That is what a "bericht" is in banking -- it is a transaction confirmation.
