: But it depends on the caravan - some have a separate tow-bar locker as well as the front locker// Yes, but I think that is historical from before they were integated into the caravan itself.

OK Dave, but 'dissel' means 'verbindingsstang van een caravan' according to Van Dale GWNT. In my opinion, that would suggest a tow bar as being the location of a 'disselbak'.
