I understand exactly what the author means, but what is it called in English? Does anyone know if there is there a specific term for this? So far, I have '....an effective medium for displaying free info. leaflets, etc.' Any help is very much appreciated.

Comment: "Thank you Marijke. I've decided to work 'take away' into the text and left out the 'free' bit. I had initially come up with this myself, but like Suzanne, I couldn't get the take away/out food connotation out of my head. Anyway, the term seems to be fairly common in relation to providing (free) leaflets/brochures to the public. "
